By self-lining each side with a single piece of full grain leather, it takes longer to make than any of our other watch bands, but we think it’s worth it.

This was my 3rd strap (1st 2 were for an Apple Watch). I’m a bit disappointed in the quality. The long tail strap is bigger than 20mm so I have to smush it on my watch. And the taper isn’t accurate either as it is hard to get the strap through the buckle. I would have changed the buckle but it’s not removable. Hopefully once strap wears in and softens it won’t be as difficult to buckle.

Hey Jill, thank you for being a returning customer and for taking the time to share this feedback. We want to clear up a couple of things that might help!
The buckle is actually removable. It uses a spring bar setup, so you can swap it out with any standard spring bar tool if you'd like to change it.

As for the fit through the buckle, the bands are tapered but natural leather can vary slightly at the edges from piece to piece. The good news is that as the leather breaks in, the edges will burnish and smooth out, making it much easier to buckle over time. You're already halfway there on that one.
